Plant Cells & Animal

In Science we have been learning about the living world, Animal and Plant cells. The things that are in the animals cells are, Nucleus, Cell membrane, mitochondria, cytoplasm, vacuole and nuclear membrane. The only things that is different from each cell is that the plant cell requires more things such as, cell wall, chloroplast and large vacuole. We then had to draw a animal cell and plant cell, we then had to label them in the correct order.  We then had to describe the different types of parts and function of a cell. 

We then used a microscope and put it through a leaf to see what it would look like.  We took some photos, and it was really interesting to see the leaf close up. We used three different types of leaf, that my teacher grabbed from outside my classroom. We put the microscope at the back of our phones, then placed the phone on the different types of leaves to see the difference between the three leafs that we took. 

Jacinda Ardern Respond to Mosque Shooting

On 15th of March 2019 the most shocking thing happen and that was the  Attack  that had taken place in Christchurch  this Attack or shooting some people may call it was a Shock to  the whole of new Zealand and around the world . Only because New Zealand is a very calm and Peaceful country and for something like this to happen it has hit a lot of people by surprise. Everyone is Proud of how great Jacinda Ardern who is the Prime Minister of New Zealand handle the shooting that happened at the Mosque in Christchurch it is still such a bombshell of what happened till this day .Our prime minister Jacinda Ardern wore a Hijab to show her Condolences to those families and individual who lost a loved one and not only that but to show her respect she  also promised that  she will be covering the costs of funeral and  will also give money to the families of these victims  . Ardern also respond to this by making a new law to keep Muslims safe and so as everyone else . There was a photo of her hugging a lady  at the mosque to show her Comfort and support this photo is popular around the world and has also made front page on magazine .

Empathy

Empathy ,for me empathy is when someone has the ability to understand someone else feelings or share a feeling of another  .Being aware of people's feelings , Thoughts and also things they have experience  from either that pass or present . I personally  think it's a good thing to have empathy in yourself  because you  could see what other people go through and instead of doing nothing you could put yourself in their shoes and try understand .What they are going through  then help them out by sharing an experience that  is like close  to  what they are  going  and make them feel comfortable so that they could explain why feel that type of  why and just talk about things then. Tell them that you are there for them if they need to talk to you about anything and everything I think if we do that everyone will feel more comfortable to open up about things like that .   

Climate Change

From reading this article I have learned that in Kiribati it is very Dangerous , and people from there have moved because their homes have been damaged caused by the water rise and also because they’ve heard good things about another country and decided to move here because it’s a Better place for them and to live the rest of their lives . People who are Residents of their country have rights to move to another country after losing their homes . There are so many people/Families that are threatened by their government to stay in the country they migrated from and not  to leave immediately because of the damages that were caused to their homes . Most culture can be really judging from this article   I think we all have different behaviours, customs, and religions.

Science Experiment

Last week on Wednesday 06 /03/2019 me and also my class did an experiment. But First we got put into groups  and got the things for this experiment it was fun I enjoyed  participating in this experiment this experiment took part in  one of our school science lab ep1  . I felt like everyone enjoyed the experiment with there little teams here is a short video of what we done .
